As of July 2015 RAPID Biomedical’s new owner is Mr. Felix Faskerty. He is main shareholder of the family owned FASTRON group with sites in Germany, Hungary and Malaysia.
FASTRON’s main business is manufacturing inductors for medical technology, high frequency, power supplies as well as electronic applications in the automotive and light industry. „RAPID Biomedical is an ideal complement to our product range and gives us the opportunity to provide our customers with unique product innovations. The sites in Lower Franconia and in Ohio, USA were important details to our decision.“, says head of FASTRON, Felix Faskerty.
After 17 years as Managing Director Ulrike Haase, hitherto main shareholder of RAPID says “I am happy that RAPID Biomedical will stay an important, privately owned employer in Lower Frankonia with a new, strong partner.“
